Pesticide Container Recycling Levels Hit New High for Fifth Straight Year
In 2014, a record 9,874,300 pounds of pesticide containers were collected and recycled. This represents an 8 % increase over 2013.
Post-Use Management of IBCs
While IBCs; aka mini-bulks or totes, are not part of the ACRC container recycling program, we do try to assist the USEPA and The Pesticide Stewardship Alliance (TPSA) in their efforts to promote best management practices and provide information to users on “the right thing to do.” 
N.C. Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services (NCDA & CS): Exemplary Support of Pesticide Container Recycling
In 1993, the North Carolina General Assembly enacted legislation creating the Pesticide Environmental Trust Fund (PETF).  This law requires companies registering pesticide products in North Carolina to pay an additional $25 or $50 environmental assessment fee for each brand registered with the N.C. Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services (NCDA & CS).
