Aloha Hawaii!

Commercial users of pesticides in the state of Hawaii will now have the opportunity to recycle their properly rinsed pesticide containers at no cost.  The ACRC Executive Board approved a joint proposal from Interstate Ag Plastics, Inc. (IAG) and Andros Engineering Corp (Andros) to provide service in the islands, making Hawaii the forty-third state served by the ACRC program.

IAG currently services the states of California, Arizona and Nevada under contract with the ACRC, operating out of Buttonwillow, CA.  Andros (Paso Robles, CA) will provide the collection and volume reduction operations in the islands under a subcontract with IAG, leveraging the drip tape recovery and recycling program that it has operated in the islands for several years.   Andros will grind containers into super sacks for short term storage prior to being shipped to California in standard shipping containers.
