ACRC Inspection Checklist – Collection Site Poster   

This robust laminated 17"x 22" poster provides the same information as our inspection checklist above, but in a larger format for use at collection sites.

ACRC Video: Inspecting  

This instructive video explains how to inspect containers brought in for recycling. It discusses the recycling site, protection needed while inspecting containers, and building relationships with clients. It also highlights the granulation process and shows some of the end-products made from recycled high-density polyethylene HDPE plastic.

This  18-minute video explains why crop protection product recycling is important, and fully illustrates how to rinse containers of different sizes using both the triple-rinsing or pressure-rinsing methods. The criteria for acceptable containers are also discussed.

Media Kits for Public Service Announcements

The ACRC relies on the help of media companies in spreading the word on the benefits and opportunities for recycling. Publishers and Radio Networks interested in participating can order a Media Kit. Included in the kit is contact information for interviews and print ads - B&W and 4-color ads in a variety of display and classified sizes. Custom ads are also available. The ACRC (202-861-3145) will furnish customized digital files with a Public service Announcement (PSA) reference to the sponsoring company or publication. Gratis donation of remnant space and discounted media buys are both appreciated.
